External doors

You may use it every day and probably more than once, but do you think "what is it made of".

Wooden doors may look good when new but remember you have to paint it regularly, and it may warp and crack and does it have a modern secured by design police approved locking mechanism.  Old fashioned locking mechanisms may not stand up to the opportunist burglar.

UPVC doors may look modern, but the chances are the core product is 28mm thick or less and may be made up thin UPVC skins and a polystyrene core,  probably not what you would choose to make your door from.

Iwantadoor.com offers the look of timber in a vast range of colours, with all the energy efficiency and weather resistance and durability of ultra modern materials. GRP composite external doors are tough, the GRP skin is highly resistant to scratches and is coloured throughout.

GRP composite external doors are low maintenance, no need to painting. The easy clean surface requires only the occasional wipe over with a damp cloth to go on looking as good as new.
